We know that the planet is changing. We know we’re supposed to “go green.” But how do we bridge the gap between intellectual comprehension and the human capacity for change?
Another Place examines today's climate crisis through the lens of Christopher Columbus and his “discovery” of the New World juxtaposed with Cassandra, the Greek mythological character who prophesied destruction but was tragically unable to persuade. Using scientific research, source materials, original writing and rigorous dramaturgy, combined with the company’s signature use of expressive text and stylized movement, the Anthropologists create an anachronistic history imbued with humor and poignancy.
