Patrick Berger (Corpus) is an artist, educator, explorer and student

of the world, based in Brooklyn. Recent credits include Paris/Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet in The Hamptons and Prince Charming in Cinderella (Looking Glass Theatre). Love to the family, peace to my friends and

cheers to all. Thanks to all the Anthros for a lovely adventure.


Petra Denison (Falling) is a a graduate of Boston University's Acting program.  Credits include the Nurse in Romeo and Juliet and Ruth Liphshitz in Sow and Weep. She is very excited to be working with such a wonderful and talented group of women. Thanks to the Anthropologists!





Jean Goto (Excess, Falling) is a Founding Artist of The Anthropologists. A native New Yorker, she is a graduate from NYU's drama department. Acting credits with The Anthropologists: Give Us Bread (Milagro Theatre, CSV), Falling (4th Street Theatre/Flux Theatre Ensemble), The Christopher Columbus Project (KNF/Directors Company), Potatoes! (One Million Forgotten Moments), and The Potato Play (Milk Can Theatre Company). Other theatre projects include: Strange Attractors (The Flea), Pelops Children (Adam Marple), Guidance (Small Pond), and 365 Days/365 Plays (Ma-Yi Theater). Her various film projects include: Race Riot (Comedy Central Pilot), The Greatest Cubist Ever (NYU), Antithesis (CCNY grad film), and Date (Jesse Ash Productions), She also starred in the short film Julya, which was runner-up for best experimental film at the Asian American International Film Festival. In addition, she is a teaching artist with the theater company Living Voices.


Jennifer Griffee (Falling) originally hails from New Mexico where

she received her BA in Theatre Arts from New Mexico State University.

With The Anthropologists: Give Us Bread (The Milagro Theater/CSV) and Falling (4th Street Theatre). Other New York credits include: Eugenie Fiocre in The Seduction of Edgar Degas (59E59), Claire in The Maids, Ensemble in Voices from Spoon River (LCP); Armande in Learned Ladies (Developing Acts Co.); and Ensemble in Impossible Lorca – A Theatrical Hat Trick (Milk Can Theatre Scene Herd Uddered Workshop). Jennifer spent three summers with Shakespeare on the Rocks were she performed as Hero in Much Ado About Nothing, Isis in Antony and Cleopatra, Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Lady MacDuff in MacBeth.



J.J. Mehren (Corpus) is having a hard time typing this because his Chihuahua keeps standing in front of his laptop begging for kisses.  Apart from his continuous work with the Anthropologists, J.J. works with the Milk Can Theatre and will be seen in their upcoming production, Life Among the Natives in the Spring.




Jennifer Moses  (Excess, Falling) is a Core Artist of The Anthropologists. She hails from wild, wonderful, West Virginia where she earned an MFA in Acting from West Virginia University. Acting credits with the Anthropologists: Give Us Bread (Milagro Theatre, CSV) and Falling (4th Street Theater/Flux Theatre Ensemble). Select New York credits include: Walkabout or Reverse Continental Drift Syndrome (The Flea), The Vagina Monologues (The Nuyorican Poets Cafe), Two Gentlemen of Verona (Hudson Shakespeare Company), and Kong's Reunion (dir. Danielle Topol). She can also be seen in the short film Remote (Bernier Productions). In addition to acting, Jennifer is also a playwright and two of her plays, MacBeth and I and Cheer Therapy, have been produced in New York and Los Angeles.


Karim Muasher (Corpus) was born in Amman, Jordan, and immigrated to the United States at an early age.  He received his BFA in Acting at Ithaca College in upstate New York where he began to create original work, incorporating comedy, puppetry, and physical theatre.  Karim has worked at various theatres across New York State, including the Hangar Theatre, Geva Theatre, and in the New York International Fringe Festival.  He received his MFA in London in Lecoq Based Physical Theatre.  While in London, Karim formed the international theatre company Giant Bird.  His work has been called “gleefully low budget”, “bound for great heights”, and “so like life in my head.”  Back in the US and based in Astoria, Karim continues to create absurd work out the realities around him.  For more info, go to karimmuasher.com



Justin Neal (Corpus) was active in the Bay Area theater scene in the late 90s-mid 00s, co-founder of the Oakland Playhouse (now defunct) and a member of Huckabay McAllister Dance. He performed with groups such as Impact Theater, Shotgun Players, Marijoh Danztheatre and Thunderbird Theater among others. Upon moving to New York, he returned to the stage with International WOW's production of Reconstruction in the summer of '09. Justin earned a BA from Fairhaven College in Washington state, with an interdisciplinary degree entitled "Cultural Diversity and the Dramatic Arts." He's thrilled to be working with The Anthropologists on their newest work.



Katy Rubin (Excess, Falling) is a Core Artist of The Anthropologists. She is an actor, circus artist, and Theatre of the Oppressed practitioner. With The Anthropologists: Give Us Bread (Milagro Theatre, CSV) and Falling (4th Street Theatre/Flux Theatre Ensemble). Other New York credits include: Lola Got Bite (Gene Frankel Underground), Schadenfreude (WOW Café Theatre), Divine Reality Comedy (Bread and Puppet Theatre), and Sukkos Mob (Great Small Works). Regional credits include: Much Ado About Nothing (Olney Theatre Center), Henry IV, Part 1 (Elm Shakespeare Company), First Blush (Boston Playwrights Theatre), and 365 Days/365 Plays (Long Wharf Theatre). International: Now.Here (NOFIT State Circus, Wales). Katy is a teaching artist with several NYC arts-education organizations, including Creative Arts Team/CUNY and Theatre Development Fund (TDF). Training: BFA, Boston University School of Theatre; London Academy for Music and Dramatic Arts. Katy has also trained with Augusto Boal, Center for Theatre of the Oppressed, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.


Sonja Sweeney (Excess, Falling) is a Founding Artist of The Anthropologists. Acting credits with The Anthropologists: Give Us Bread (Milagro Theatre, CSV), Falling (4th Street Theatre/Flux Theatre Ensemble), The Christopher Columbus Project (KNF/Directors Company), Potatoes! (One Million Forgotten Moments), and The Potato Play (Milk Can Theatre Company). Other New York credits include: Better Not Touch That (Lift Studios, Brooklyn), Walkabout or Reverse Continental Drift Syndrome (The Flea), Dancing Downstream (Highwire Theatre Company), and the title role in John Q’s Wife and The Brothers’ Menaechmus (ATA). Additional credits include: The Comedy of Errors (Oregon Shakespeare Festival), The Pale Fire Project (Black Swan, OR), and The Trestle at Popelick Creek and the national premiere of The Dance of Angels Who Burn Their Own Wings (CU, Boulder). Sonja holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Colorado at Boulder and studied commedia dell’arte at the Accademia dell’Arte in Arezzo, Italy.
