Support Our Vision for Bold Theatre

Fifteen years ago, we founded The Anthropologists on a mission to unleash cultural discoveries. Using rigorous dramaturgy and compassionate collaboration, our plays activate the archives to investigate our past, re-contextualize our present and reimagine our collective future.

We need your help to thrive in 2024.

Our work is multi-faceted, curiosity-based and created with deep artist and community engagement. This intentional work requires significant resources, which is only

We've been awarded the Episcopal Actors’ Guild (EAG) 2024 Open Stage Grant to continue developing this new investigative play. EAG is providing $5,600 in space credits and a $1,000 cash grant towards artist stipends.

Will you help us to match these resources with a gift of any size today?

Did you know?

Over the past 5 years, individual donations have averaged 39% of our income.

People-driven support is critical to our success! Funding organizations - from city agencies to private foundations - want to see that we matter to our community. One way that they measure that is through donor support. Your participation as a donor instills confidence in our capacity to continue producing great theatre and exciting public programming!

The Anthropologists is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions for the charitable purposes of The Anthropologists must be made payable to “Fractured Atlas” only and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
